This is so weird...but so very, very cool
Steffanie Leigh, the star of Mary Poppins on Broadway (she plays Mary!!) made a video where she talks about some of the fan letters she's received.

Katie, your degree in sociology is showing! But now that you bring it up I guess we really should bring it out in the open.
I believe Bobo is embarrassed that he was found on the doorstep, so has never felt completely accepted as a member of the Dixon family! That and the fact that he refuses to do his music BEFORE school! Not to mention his attic room is a disaster!!(That character! What is he thinking!)
What do you think we could do to help him be a productive member of the family? Do we just love him anyway (I am for that) or insist that he tow the line, like the rest of the kids. If not I run the risk of the older kids telling me I let Bobo get with anything that it's not fair to the older kids, who had to follow the rules!
It is a sad fact of life that the parents are ALWAYS tougher on the older kids than the younger kids. That's because we older kids wear 'em down so much. I hope you young'uns are grateful! Especially you Bobo!

@Mom - I just meant I think the reason Bobo is hiding in the attic is because he doesn't want to do his music.
