Next week the Scotts are headed to DISNEYLAND!! YAY!!
But we need input: it's been almost 10 years since we were there last and we could use your info or tips. Tell us what rides not to miss, which obscure places to visit, how to maneuver around the park...stuff like that.

If you have a smartphone there is an app you can get that tells you the wait times for all the rides, which rides are closed, and even gps tracks all the disney characters. I used it a lot and it really came in handy.
Also, you need to try the Dole Whips, it is the most delicious pineapple ice cream ever. The Dole stand is right outside of the Tiki Room. Last time I was there I got one everyday. Yummy.
I am so incredibly jealous and I want to go too! Have fun and take lots of pictures!
YAY!! You guys are so lucky!! DEFINITELY walk past the Jolly Holiday bakery and tell me if it's any good (I'm so jalous.)
Also: They say Tomorrowland is the best place to go in the mornings, BUT that may have changed since they have the new Star Wars ride. This is for sure: go to Tomorrowland first and get fastpasses for both Space Mountain and Star Tours, because those run out FAST. (It might not be so bad since you're going in the off season though.)
Adventureland, they say, is best at night.
Go to the Mary Blair gallery on Main Street :) Also, Moment with Mr. Lincoln on main street is a good place to go if you're hot and tired.
I hear the new Toy Story ride in California Adventure is AWESOME. (I haven't been, but I hear...it's AWESOME)
I 2nd the dole whips. Erin and I had them when we went to disneyland. They are TO DIE FOR! We have tried to recreate them, but with not too much success.
You'll have to tell us how star tours is. We went DAYS before it opened. BLAH!
FANTASMIC!!! It's my favorite thing at Disneyland. You have to save spots a couple of hours berfore, but it's totally worth it.
Goofy's kitchen is really expensive, but awesome! If you are into getting the character autographs, that's the place to be and the food is miraculous.
Before getting in any line, find out what the line is for. We once waited 30 min to get into the Tiki room just to find out we were in the dole refreshment stand line. If I had known how great the dole whips were, I probably wouldn't have cared.

I second Katie's advice--make sure you have the right line. I one waited 30 minutes for the Astroblasters and found myself at a Star Tours fastpass kiosk. I got a fastpass anyway, because i hate waiting for nothing :)
So, the computer in the kitchen is not working and I'm missing out on all this good Disneyland stuff! Hey Wolford family why don't I just sneak into your suitcase and then I'll make sure you have a great times at Disneyland! This is going to be so much fun for you guys! Make sure you take lots of pictures!
Are you going to California Adventure too? If so, I have some stuffs we thought was awesome there.

All this talk of Disneyland is making me want to go. There are tons of stuff there that I haven't see yet. You are going to have a wonderful time!
