Coincidence or not?

So this is a random odd post but I am random and odd.  Heather should at least read it though.There is an author that I like to read that writes things at the end of her books about what she was thinking and doing when she wrote the books. She had a book come out that was a retelling of the Twelve Dancing Princesses. I usually don't read her stuff in the back because it is long and kind of boring but I read it this time. She said she had been writing the book when another rewriting of the dancing princesses came out. She said she bought it but couldn't read it so she sent it to her sister who told her it was the best version of the TDP she had ever read. The author felt discouraged and shelved hers. She started it up again and then she was told of another new version that came out. She said she bought it and it had a beautiful cover and awesome title. She sent it to her sister who read it and told her that this was actually the best version ever written. She stopped writing it again. It just so happens that at the time the best version ever written came to her might have come because one of her crazy fans (that might actually be me) sent her an email and told her she should read it because she loves those kind of books. She sent me an email back saying that she ordered the book and was going to read it when she was done with hers. I feel a little bit bad that I was likely the reason she stopped writing hers for awhile but she did eventually do it so I guess it's okay. Her retelling was alright. A read it once alright. Definitely not anywhere close to as good as the one with the beautiful cover and awesome name!
